The Baltimore Ravens have signed free-agent QB Cleo Lemon. In addition, WR Marcus Smith (knee) and DT Lamar Divens (hip) were placed on injured reserve. Smith and Divens were waived/injured and went on IR after they passed through waivers.

With backup QB John Beck (shoulder) not 100 percent, the team felt the need to add another quarterback.

Lemon went undrafted in 2001 and was originally signed by the Ravens in 2002. He has also spent time on the rosters of the Miami Dolphins, San Diego Chargers, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
