Brown Commits to Play Baseball

Shortstop Jeremy Brown of Festus, Mo., is the second Arkansas State Red Wolves' baseball commitment.

A high school graduate in 2014, Brown plays both high school and legion (Post 253) baseball in his hometown.

The 6-foot, 160-pounder earned Class 4 All-District 2 honors for the high school team. He had a .537 on-base and drove in 27 runs. He also was hit by nine pitches and added a save, He earned first time All-Jefferson County Large school honors as a junior and was second team as a sophomore.

He bats right-handed.

As a sophomore he batted .341 with a .404 on-base percentage and drove in 23 runs and scored 27 times.
