Bryan Harsin and the Arkansas State Red Wolves picked up one more athlete in their latest recruiting class here Thursday when Knoxville Bearden's Trent Waters signed his letter of intent.

Waters confirmed with AStateNation Thursday afternoon on AStateNation Sports Radio that he had indeed become a Red Wolf.

"I'm very excited about being a Red Wolf," Waters said. "Coach Caldwell stood by me, we developed a great relationship while he was coaching at Arkansas."

Waters will have a signing day ceremony on Friday morning at his high school.

Waters is a 6-foot-2, 235 pound athlete that played full back on offense and linebacker on defense.

"Arkansas State is recruiting me to play middle linebacker on the defensive side of the ball," Waters said. "I love playing defense and Coach Harsin told me that he was very excited that I was a Red Wolf and part of the AStateNation Family."
