Bryan Harsin’s first home game as a Red Wolf Head Coach will be in Jonesboro, Arkansas not Little Rock.

This announcement came live on AStateNation Sports Radio when ASU Athletic Director broke the news.

“We have decided that it wouldn’t be fair for Brian’s first home game not to be in Jonesboro,” Mohajir told James Bryant and Randy Myers. “Gus really wanted to play in Little Rock, with him being gone, this was the right thing to do to keep the game in Jonesboro.

Another deciding factor besides the Malzahn issue is that Red Wolf Fans turned out in record numbers at Liberty Bank Stadium.

“Our game day atmosphere has gotten so much better,” Mohajir said. “We set a Sun Belt Conference record this season for attendance, we want to keep on doing those type of things that will help us break the record again.

Mohajir also mentioned that he has a contract on his desk for a home and home game with a team that ASU Fans would definitely get excited about. Mohajir declined to name which school that game would be played against. It’s a back up plan if North Texas and FAU go to ASU early
