Arkansas State picked up its 12th commitment of the 2013 recruiting class here Monday evening when Mississippi Junior College offensive lineman Brennan Tutor decided to be a Red Wolf.

Tutor made the trip to Jonesboro back in June and fell in love with the campus and ASU coaching staff.

It appears that the relationships he has built with the ASU coaching staff were some of the deciding factors.

"I like Coach Woods, Coach Grimes and Coach Malzahn a lot," Tutor said. "That group really impresses me a lot."

The former Pontotoc MS High School player is currently 6-foot-5, 285-pounds and is in his third year at ICC.

Tutor is also impressed with Head Coach Gus Malzahn. "They have a great coaching staff, it's very impressive what staff Coach (Gus) Malzahn has assembled."

Tutor is expected to graduate in December from Itawamba CC.

"I will have two years to play two at Arkansas State," Tutor said. "I was really impressed with the campus, their facilities are really nice."
