A Tennessee athlete from Lake County High School Devon Jones pulled the trigger for the Red Wolves, giving Malzahn his third commitment in three days, and his fourth overall.

"I"m very excited about being a Red Wolf," Jones told AStateNation Tuesday morning. "I went up there during their spring game and knew it was the place for me."

Jones, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound athlete who runs a 4.4 forty, plays running back and safety for his high school team.

"They are telling me at Arkansas State I can play where ever I want," Jones said. "I may play a little bit of both, we will have to wait and see."

Jones was impressed with the ASU coaching staff, the fans and his future team mates.

"The people at Arkansas State are great," Jones said. "It's a place I feel I can spend the rest of my life at. I love Coach Malzahn, he is the type coach I want to play for."

Jones will attend a Arkansas State Camp in the next couple of weeks.

"I love Coach Malzahn's vision and plan for the ASU Football program," Jones said. "He is going to build ASU into a powerful program."

Jones has offers from Arkansas State, MTSU, and Tennessee State along with several FCS schools.
