JONESBORO, Ark. (4/11/12) – Arkansas State head men's basketball coach John Brady announced the signing of junior college transfer Seth Kisler, who will join the Red Wolves for the 2012-13 season, to a national letter of intent Wednesday.

Kisler, a 6-9 native of Fort Wayne, Ind., played last season at Paris Junior College under head coach Chuck Taylor and averaged 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per game for the Dragons. He also shot 50% (58-116) from the floor in 22 games played.

Kisler sustained an ankle injury and missed five games at the end of the season. Paris finished with a 23-7 overall record and a 15-4 mark in conference play capturing the Region XIV regular season title while advancing to the Region XIV Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed. The Dragons finished the season ranked No. 22 in the NJCAA.

"Seth was a part of an outstanding junior college team this past season at Paris," said Brady. "He fills a need on our team as a dependable front line player that can also shoot the ball from the perimeter. He is versatile in his ability to play inside as well as out. With the core of our team returning and the addition of 6-7 255-pound Kendrick Washington becoming eligible, Seth is the perfect compliment to Kendrick and Brandon Peterson."

Kisler played his freshman season at Huntington University in Indiana after averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a senior at Blackhawk Christian High School in Fort Wayne.

The addition of Kisler pushes ASU's fall recruiting class to four after the Red Wolves signed Kris Brown, Kelvin Downs and Raeford Worsham during the earlysigning period.
