One Georgia offensive lineman took two official visits the last two weeks before making his final decision.
Colquitt County High School Center Bryce Giddens had committed to Southern Mississippi in July. After official visits to Arkansas State on January 14th and then to Southern Miss this past weekend, Giddens decided to pull the trigger Monday afternoon.
“I’m going to be a Red Wolf,” Giddens told AStateNation.com. “I just felt Arkansas State was better suited for me.”
Giddens, a 6-foot-0, 270-pound center came away from Arkansas State two weeks ago very impressed with Gus Malzahn and his future position coach J.B. Grimes.
“I really like Coach Grimes and Coach Malzahn a lot,” Giddens said. “Coach Grimes is one of the better offensive line coaches in the country. He cares about more than just football.”
Giddens make commitment No. 23 for Malzahn and his coaching staff.
