Texas running back Kendrick Daniels heard that Arkansas State's Hugh Freeze got a new job at Ole Miss.

According to Daniels, he is proud for Freeze but says it doesn't effect the way he still feels about being a Red Wolf.

"I found out today," Daniels told AStateNation.com. "It's a bigger job for him, if it's good for him I'm glad for him. I'm still very much committed to Arkansas State. It's a great school, I fell in love with the campus and the school."

According to Daniels he spoke to a coach at Arkansas State today and they told him that he was still very much wanted.

"They still want me and I still want them," Daniels said. "I really liked the atmosphere there, loved their offense and how hard they played the game."

Daniels is a three star running back by Scout.com and currently has offers from Iowa State, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, New Mexico, and New Mexico State.
