Rison's athlete Quanterio Heath grew up making several trips to Jonesboro to watch the Red Wolves play football. It was his familarity with the program and coaches that made his decision to become a Red Wolf easy.

"It just feels like home," Heath told AStateNation.com. "I have been going up there for a while to watch games, and visit the campus. I like it there a lot."

Heath, a 6-3, 210-pound linebacker for his Rison Football team, expects to play defensive end for Arkansas State.

According to Heath, Hugh Freeze and his coaching staff was very excited about the news of their 15th commitment.

"They were fired up about it," Heath said. "They are glad I'm going to be a Red Wolf."

Heath makes two players that Rison is sending to Jonesboro next fall. Heath's teammate Marquis Walker committed earlier to Arkansas State.

"Getting the chance to play at the next level with my friend Marquis is going to be great," Heath said. "I can't wait, I'm very excited about my decision."
