Memphis East big lineman Latarius Brady made his commitment to Hugh Freeze and the Arkansas Red Wolves this morning in the school auditorium.
Surrounded by friends, family and his Memphis East coaching staff, Brady was all smiles when he called Freeze to give him the good news.
“Coach, I’m going to your school,” Brady said. “I love you and your coaching staff and Jonesboro is the place for me.”
Brady, who recently received a Vanderbilt offer this past Thursday, still feels he made the right decision for him and his family.
“I love what Coach Freeze is building at Arkansas State, they are building something special and I want to be a part of it,” Brady told AStateNation.com in an exclusive interview. “Coach Freeze and Coach (Maurice) Harris recruited me harder than anyone else.”
Brady, a big offensive lineman that also plays on the defensive side of the ball, was overly impressed with Arkansas State when he camped there earlier this summer.
“I love the campus,” Brady said. “I love our stadium, the athletic facilities are great.”
Brady’s mother was pleased with her son’s decision.
“My main concern was my son’s education,” Mrs. Brady said. “He will get a great education in Jonesboro.”
Brady was all smiles about his decision.
AStateNation.com will have photos and an exclusive video interview with Brady.
