One that appears to be on the Red Wolves radar is Alabama defender John Youngblood from Trussville.

AStateNation.com caught up with Youngblood Tuesday night to get his thoughts on a recent camp experience he had in Jonesboro last month.

"I definitely liked it there a lot," Youngblood admitted. "I really like my position coach there Coach (Chris) Kiffin. He definitely knows what he is doing, it was great to be coached by him during camp."

Youngblood has been very busy this summer attending several camps including ones at Arkansas State, Middle Tennessee State, Memphis, Kentucky, Southern Mississippi, Clemson and South Alabama.

It appears that the Red Wolf coaching staff made a good impression on him.

"I like Coach (Hugh) Freeze a lot," Youngblood said. "He told me that I'm on top of their board at DE and they are really excited about the possibility of me playing for them."

He also likes his recruiting coach Tyler Siskey a lot.

"Coach Siskey is a character," Youngblood laughed. "He is really honest and up front with me. He is a really great guy to talk to."

Youngblood will finish his camp circuit for the summer this Friday with a visit to Georgia Tech.

Youngblood, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound athlete, currently has offer from Arkansas State, Memphis and UAB.

Youngblood apparently enjoyed his camp at the University of Memphis.

"I liked Coach Dubose a lot," Youngblood said. "My camp experience was good there. I didn't get to see much of the campus. I understand they are doing some upgrades to their facilities."
